SUNS/CELTICS

Last weekend we decided to go and see the Suns game. We had been wanting to go to a basketball game for awhile, and finally got some cheap tickets. It also worked out as one of my customers wanted to do a bachelorette Passion Party the night before. We got a huge discount on our hotel as a friend of ours works there, and the hotel where the passion party was, was within walking distance from where we stayed. It worked out perfect! The Suns game was fun, as we are fans, since the Sonics is no longer... for now. We took the light rail to the game, which was only $2.50 a person, and we didn't have to worry about driving, or having a DD. Later that night, we hung out near out hotel and visited some bars. Tempe is where ASU is so, needless to say... it was a little wild. We felt old. We didn't quite have the ditzy sounding voice, nor the scampy clothes. We were also spending our money, rather than using Daddy's credit card. We did manage to find some nooks with cheap pizza and sandwiches. It was another great weekend!

enjoying a $6.00 beer.

I'm not sure what we were doing... must have been in the song.

Believe it or not it was Aaron that pulled Nicole to the dance floor. I've NEVER seen him volunteer, yet put others to dance.

Go Suns! ... we lost...

Santa Fe

Aaron and headed to Santa Fe to celebrate our anniversary. It was good to return, although I don't remember it being so ritzy. We were definitely out of place! I showed Aaron some of the churches that we had visited last time I was there. For Valentine's day, we had a 4 course meal at one of the local restaurants in town. Delicious food! Andy also came up from Albuquerque Valentine's evening. We found a somewhat local bar in town and visited for a bit! Overall, we had a great time. It was nice to relax after very stressful events for both of us, school, work ect.

Blurry..

Possible Last snow of the Season??

Some pics of the last snow.. well, possibly last snow.  It stuck around for awhile, but finally melted this past weekend.  We've been having spring fever as the temperature has been in the 50's, and sunny.

Very messy driveway..

Secret Canyon

Last weekend we all decided to go on a mini backpacking trip to Secret Canyon in Sedona. The weather was perfect and it didn't rain on us at all. Kelly is leaving soon for Korea, so we will probably do this again next weekend as well. The trail first started out as dry and full of cacti. After heading into the canyon, there was moss and lots of water in the river beds. We had to cross about 6 or 7 times. All the melted snow was finally making it's way down the mountain. The water was delicious as well, as we brought our steripen so we didn't need to bring a bunch of water.

Kona actually walked in the water... willingly!!

Looking back before heading into the canyon.

I'm not sure why we all decided to slouch for this photo.

This was in the rock. It looks like a Bryce Canyon for ants.

My favorite picture.
